Does anyone have coords for the pond? I've never been birding around lake George.

Were they findable with binoculars, or would a scope be necessary?

Mark also phoned me – he further said that the pair was on the southern edge of the big dam, but one flew to the small island. Hopefully that will mean something to people more familiar with the dam, or make more sense when they get there.

Hi All,

 

Mark Clayton has asked me to let you know that at 10am this morning he observed two Painted Snipe at Lake George.

They were near the big dam on Lake Road (adjacent to Lake George – he said most of you would know where that is).

 

He didn’t have access to his emails.
