The possibility of the birds breeding has only been raised since yesterday (and at that time the tracks into the grass were not extensive). However it might be time for Michael to put
up one of his'stay out of this area signs'.
I have hypothesised in
this blog post that while the species has been recorded South and West of its usual zone that only appears to have been one bird at a time so an extension of breeding if proven would be a biggie.
Another job for Michael or his henchpersons could be removing the tree that's fallen over the concrete path between Fulica and Tadorna hides.
