About 4km along North Black Range FT is a rugged track on the left leading up to a trig point. I have often found some
good species up that. About 1.5km past that there is a swampy area off to the right which has had some interesting birds in the tea-tree surrounding the open areas. Also a very good supply of ticks in Summer.
