Con. I went to Tallaganda F via Forbes Creek on Mulloon Fire Trail. I saw the quailthrush about 2 kms short of the intersection with Bald Hill FT. Here the forest is relatively open and there are plenty of granite boulders. This is a hot spot for quailthrush although you don't see one every time. After a 40 minute brisk walk i returned to my subaru and drove to the intersection with Bald Hill FT where I turned north. I saw the other 3 birds within the first 2 or 3 kms. Stopping to see the Flame Robin. A little further on I noticed a small dark robin.  The treecreeper quietly nearby. I was surpried to see the bold rufous eyebrows.

As I was late setting out on my morning exercise walk I drove to the forest to enjoy the cooler and less hay fevery air. Well you can't go to the forest without bins. My special birds for the trip were
Spotted Quailthush male
Red-browed Treecreeper male
Flame Robin male
Pink Robin imm/female
