Thanks David - I had a quick look at eBird which was very useful however I was also wanting to know what time of the day/night and in which vegetation type these birds are most commonly seen. I'm not sure if eBird provides this information or not.

Note that the large red markers are recent reports from publicly-accessible places.
It is best if you learn the calls of the two quail species (Stubble Quail & Brown Quail) found locally.
