Hi Rhiannon, eBird Australia is good for this: enter the species name and the location (e.g. Canberra) at http://ebird.org/ebird/australia/map/
Note that the large red markers are recent reports from publicly-accessible places.
It is best if you learn the calls of the two quail species (Stubble Quail & Brown Quail) found locally.
Regards - David

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I might see Stubble Quail (or any other quail species) within the Canberra area? Quails are a particular group of birds that have eluded me for much of my birding adventures. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Kind regards,

Rhiannon
