Collared Sparrowhawk eating leg bones of a bird

Congratulations Steve.  At the risk of "me-tooism" that is exactly what I observed last week but I couldn't get a photo of the leg bones disappearing.  I was very impressed with the way the bird juggled the leg so that the toes went down last.

It continued to feed on the rest of the carcass as soon as the bones were swallowed. I will eventually put the video up but attached is a sequence of photos from it.
