I'm just back from 2 days away. I think it's a juv. fantail cuckoo. Not barred enough, above, for a juv. brush cuckoo.

thanks to those who replied, most thought juv. fantail cuckoo; there was a suggestion of brush cuckoo, although it was said that this would be late in the year to see them.

Went back to Narrabundah Hill to see if the light was better than yesterday, saw this bird.  Have an idea what it might be but not sure.
