I find my tolerance to weight has dropped with age. I went micro 4/3rds sometime ago. My Panasonic GH4 body plus a Panasonic 100-300 f/4 - 5.6 lens weighs just over 1 kg all up. On a full frame that lens is equivalent to a 200-600 mm lens.  A Canon 600mm F4 is a much better lens of course, but it weighs just under 4 Kg (not including a camera body) and costs $12K!!!!!.

Hi to all the COG photographers.  I am thinking of getting a larger lens for my camera (Canon 7Dii).

As much as I would love to, I don't think I will ever afford any of the BIG Canon lens, so I am wondering if anyone has experiences with the SIGMA or TAMRON offerings (150-600mm lens).
