The White-naped Honeyeaters mentioned below have fledged 3 chicks over the weekend. They were observed being fed in the nest at the weekend and out of the nest today. This fits with the adults having eggs on 2 Feb as the nestling period is 14-16.5 days (Handbook of Birds Of The World)

A Yellow-faced Honeyeater on Warks Road (about 1000m elevation) and a White-naped Honeyeater on Blundells Creek Road (about 875m) were on nests last Monday (2nd Feb). No young were seen or heard as the adults approached the nest so most likely they both had eggs.

Subject: [canberrabirds] Migration season or breeding season?
It is getting into the season when some migrants disappear from Carwoola (200m above Canberra, so the seasons are about 2 weeks different). So I was very surprised this morning to follow some squeaking calls and find a nest full of Yellow-faced Honeyeaters in a floribunda rose beside our Western veranda.
