Hi Julie - it is certainly not acceptable for others to use pictures without consent ... but it is also a practical reality that folk will copy photos the like and they can turn up in all sorts of unexpected places. It's certainly happened to me ... but I take the somewhat pragmatic view that you need to anticipate IP violations from time to time and base your decision on whether and (if so) how (resolution etc) to post images.
