Julie.

I agree with John, but would go further, doing this with your IP without your permission is not just unethical, it is probably illegal. The person(s) should take them down (if possible) and apologise to you. The individual(s) probably meant no harm, but we do have a 'drag and drop' generation out there.

Spoken from someone who has a book to his name boot-legged on a Russian website!!

Julie,  Using your photos without asking or acknowledging is quite unethical and you have every reason to be upset.
I for one would have thought that chatline photos were for the information and private viewing of members but nothing else. I notice that COG itself is very careful to acknowledge photos in publications and on the website.
The sad thing is that you would probably have been your nice co-operative self if someone had asked you.
It should not be hard to find out who can put stuff on the facebook page. Surely it can’t be free for all to do it.
It’s been done now, but someone should at least apologise and put an acknowledgement in of whose photos they are.
John

Hi,

I'm wondering if someone can tell me why I've just seen some of my Forde Creek  photos on the Mulligan's Flat Facebook page? They weren't taken at Mulligan's Flat and I didn't post them there.

They were posted on the COG chatline.

I wasn't approached by anyone to post them elsewhere.

I'd appreciate it if some could explain to me how they got there.

Many thanks
Julie
