When thinking about the distribution of birds in the ACT its always good to have a look at the excellent Birdinfo pages on the COG website. The entry for Satin Bowerbird shows that they have a presence on both sides of the Lake and particularly on the Southern side of Lake Burley Griffin (Yarralumla and Stirling Park).
