Hi Folks

Last query for the night, for those who can tell the difference between a Collared Sparrowhawk and a Goshawk of similiar persuasion.

Link to Photo: http://bit.ly/1ouZSDo (taken April 2014 in Palmerston suburbia)

I am guessing this to be a proud Collared Sparrowhawk that has had a rough time (at the hands of a Currawong or whatever?). Seems to be missing an eye and a leg.

Does that sound right?

Thanks
Harold
