Very good Martin.  Below is a slide from my talk on the species.  An NT govt website sees this pattern as suggesting, of all things, a RUGBY JUMPER. I suppose Darwin draws in waifs and strays from all over the wide brown.  I am surprised your own background led you to see the OZRULES affinity

What is that strange object just to the right of the dock?  Its got a white V rather like an old Victorian State footie guernsey.

In case I have the chance to visit Jerra. wetlands before Xmas or before the p/snipe disappears completely, could someone pin-point the dock's position, please?
