The
Wood Sandpiper drew me out to Fyshwick at lunch time; took about 30 minutes to
locate and I, Roger W, Alastair S and Milburn got good views of it. It tends to
be by itself rather than with the sharpies (of which I saw only 5); and I only
located 1 Red-necked Stint.

– that’s starting to look more like a Wood Sandpiper (although the front-on
angle makes it difficult to see the wing patterning, and the bill looks fairly
long).
