I'm happy to say I sighted a BBR at North Watson Wetlands, an hour ago.

And I also had two good views of a Wedge-tailed Eagle this morning on Mt Majura. It was sitting in a tree being harrassed by magpies and had only moved a short distance between 7:15am and 9:30am. I was out walking with friends.

With some water now back in Kellys Swamp, the birds are slowly returning (although Swamphens and G Teal arrived two seconds after a puddle formed). Single Buff-banded Rail this morning and a couple of Shovelers.
