There has been a significant increase in honeyeaters moving over our place
in Wamboin this morning, probably due to the first really cool overnight temp
we’ve had.
Several hundred to a thousand have flown over so far, moving predominantly
north-east, largest flock about 100, with about 80% Yellow-faced and the
remainder White-naped, the first we’ve seen this migration. Smaller groups of
Yellow-faced and the odd White-naped as well.
Also a flock of 17 Pied Currawongs flew over, and a small group of
Silvereyes.
