Good to see this species back again, moving through my garden, as sometimes seen, at this time of year. A fully plumaged male. The  occasional flycatcher- like lazy flip of a wing after alighting is characteristic and draws your eye even though the bird may only be seen at first in outline.

Apparently not many migrating honeyeaters seen yet at my place this year, but obviously they are being seen in good numbers elsewhere.
