Certainly true that this is important. I am not suggesting I know an answer.
I raise the idea that just maybe, like the King Parrot, perhaps they don't
(usually) breed locally (i.e. within Canberra area) but come here when young
have left the nest, so maybe the issue of nesting sites is to be addressed
outside of the ACT. More for the Superb Parrot than the King Parrot, because
the ACT does not extend far north of Canberra into their habitat but is does
for a long way south.
