Not quite sure what is expected of this year so far, but I reported on a
kestrel nest on Urambi Hills near Kambah in October & November 2012. I do
not know the outcome beyond parents attending and bringing food to the nest
over a period of 3 to 4 weeks. A couple months earlier I saw 5
Black-shouldered Kites together with 3 clearly dependant young at the
entrance gate to Lions Village on Kambah Pool road.

Subject: another one--kestrels
Last year, when there was the mouse plague, several nests of kestrels were
reported. As far as I am aware, this year there has only been the one
report, of a nest, which failed, at the Russell offices
And not many reports of black shouldered kites
