Given what the ACT Government did to known Superb food trees in Crace, I'd
be very careful of letting them know anything about Superb Parrots. It is
interesting in the area around the AIS where Superbs are now regular (I saw
a juvenile being fed there today) to see just how many exotic trees are
being planted in the surrounding area and how many natural Eucalypts, (Red
Gum, Yellow Box and Brittle Gums) have been knocked down beside the Coppins
Crossing Road to make way for the suburbs in the new Molonglo satellite
city.

If it's a native tree in Canberra it is threatened with being cut down by
overzealous chainsaw maniacs!!

There have been many reports of sightings of superb parrots and their young.
But I have not seen any reports of people seeing birds entering or leaving
nests. Surely it is important to know what trees they choose for nesting
