The first two birds I saw at the Centre were Latham's Snipe and Buff-banded Rail (in the back pond (now mostly mud)).

The woodland seemed quite quiet, but after a while I began to see good things:

Jacky Winter
Speckled Warbler
Noisy Friarbird
White-throated Gerygone
Rufous Songlark (feeding a dy with a huge spiky grasshopper)

over the road in the first 300m up towards Mt Tennant I saw:

Diamond Firetail
Brown-headed Honeyeater
WW Triller
Leaden Flyctacher
Mistletoebird
