Wetlands a bit after 7am today.  Above is a view across Kellys showing preening snipe in company of Freckled Duck, a single teal on right. There are still at least 5 Freckleds there.  Below is a view for those who prefer their preening snipe close at hand.  In my snipe video some years ago I pointed out snipe need to take good care of their feathers because it’s a long way to walk back to Japan.
