The season's first call
around here (Florey) heard during this morning's dawn chorus.
Has since moved on (thank god).

distinctive call of the Koel resonating through the Lyneham
ships – tracked him down to a tree alongside the cycleway to
Lyneham High. Despite agitation from the wattlebirds he just
kept up the plaintive call.
