Hi Alex
Yes that record is of interest to COG. The Hylacola
is no longer on the list of 'Unusual Birds' for the region but it is still very
uncommon to see. Most of our recent records have actually come from a similar
area to where you are netting, a bit lower down closer to Vanity's
crossing in dense post-2003 regrowth. There are still a number of COG
people I'm sure who would like to see this elusive bird in the ACT so I'm
forwarding your message on.
