Howdy All,
I know it is off topic, but people on this list seem to have an
interest in reptiles etc as well as birds in many cases....... Does
anyone know of a site suitable for identifying Geckos? Or does
anyone have information on which Geckos are native to this area? I
came across one at a friend's place today, and until now I never
realised that there were Geckos native to Canberra? Anyone got any
information? I can't seem to work out the correct key words for
Google to find anything useful, although I do know there is an alert
for Asian House Geckos, which apparently are very similar to our
"native geckos" in the ACT. This at least confirms that there ARE
native ones here at least <grin>. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
