Thanks, Ken. I sat on top of Isaacs Ridge
the weekend before last watching HEs and I noted that they were reluctant to
fly between the southern three towers. In every case the flock of HE would
pause short of the towers and then fly north or south around them before
resuming their track down over Mugga Station.

Honeyeater migration
About 30 YFHE went over our house in Isaacs Sunday afternoon in three
groups. As they flew towards the ridge near the towers, one group turned north,
the others turned south but I then lost sight of them. Before this we have seen
very few honeyeaters passing through here. One white-eared hung about the house
last week for a few days.
