I have visited the property with no success. However the owner has sent me the attached photo which confirms the ID.
He has completed a COG data sheet to support this observation. On looking at Birdata on the Birds Australia site it seems this is an extension to the recorded range of the species: at least it fills in a gap in the arc of expansion: see Superb map all months NSW.JPG.
