A great term Con and absolutely describes the giant boo-boo made by 3
well-known birders when they claimed to have seen a whole flock of white
wagtails at the Bungendore Sewage Ponds. And they all knew that
White-fronted Chats where regularly seen in the vicinity. Well, I was one
of the 3 but I won't say who the other 2 were.
So those new to the wonderful world of birdwatching should never be afraid to make a mistake.
