Hi

We have been having a lot of trouble with our demented peewit (magpie lark) and his new wife. Up to now, the peewit has just contented himself with endlessly throwing himself against the front and back windows of our house, as he has done for a number of years now. However, his new partner has introduced him to fighting with the images in the car windows and rear vision mirrors so that they have to be cleaned every time we go out. Tony read in a couple of emails that other people had experienced the same problem until they bought a rubber snake and placed it where the birds were. This frightened them so much that they left and the cars were clean again.

I was initially loathe to do this because I really am fond of the birds and didn't want to drive them off.

The photos show that I need not have worried........
