There were a pair and a singleton at Gundaroo Common this morning. Later in the morning two were perched in a tree in Gr07 in roadside veg of the Gundaroo/Bungadore Road. They were both calling and the male was peering into a hollow. Not sure if that counts as (ih).

Birding was both difficult and somewhat unpleasant in the very strong winds. Other sightings included Speckled Warbler (in roadside veg), a Collared Sparrowhawk and a pair of Southern Whitefaces in the Common. Breeding records were difficult to come by in the conditions: Yellow-rumped and Striated Thornbills (dy). Magpie and Australian Raven (on).
