A few weeks ago, on La Perouse Street red Hill, I saw a flock of choughs viciously attacking another chough on the ground. I wondered whether they were 'welcoming' a young bird that they had kidnapped. Unfortunately I was unable to stop. Should I have interfered anyway? They all flew off, including the one that appeared to have been beaten up
