A week or two ago, strolling with a friend in the enhanced ANBG, I
noticed a large brown snake about a metre away.
As it was 10 metres from the bridge near the cafe and heading towards
groups of people we decided to report its existence.
The woman at the information desk was very relaxed and her reply unexpected. "Oh that must be Bob." she said.Apparently he's a institution and merely needs to be steered away from places inhabited by little snake-patting kiddies, by calm staff.
