A 40min stroll along the eastern boundary of Campbell Park this sparkling evening (5 pm) was rewarding in a modest way. A Wedgetailed Eagle circling very high above Mt Ainslie; many Common Bronzewings both sitting in Eucalypts and flying down into the paddock outside the park; 2 Kookaburras; a Jacky Winter; a WillieWagtail; 1 (possibly 2) Speckled Warblers; and several Pardalotes too high in the canopy to pin to species. (Besides more everyday Magpies, Crimson and Eastern Rosellas, Raven, Crested Pigeons etc).
