If it is of interest, I saw a Wallaroo Macropus robustus on the lower western slopes of Mount Taylor late last year.

Connecting Philips suburban wallaby sighting on Tuesday with an avian sighting, the course of the wallaby was quite close to the trees in which I observed four Swift Parrots on 1 May 2007.  It is sad to note that two of the trees in which I saw those birds have been removed - one was a Brittle Gum or Yellow Gum (not entirely sure which) street planting and the other was a remnant Yellow Box of outstanding stature.

Whilst I'm posting a message to this list, I will include some bird information to maintain relevance, on a thread currently being discussed: I saw a flock of four Gang-gangs flying over the Tuggeranong Pool the other morning as I was riding to work, of which the only significance for me is that it is the first time I can recall seeing them in the Tuggeranong Town Centre.
