Hi John,
Unlike most local raptors, the Black-shouldered
Kite is a sometimes autumn but also late winter to early spring breeder in this
area and so to have juveniles out in early November (or earlier) is typical
for this species. COG Atlas & GBS Report both provide some evidence of
this.
