pond- 7/11 Not
much of interest, but the quantity of birds was impressive. I
had great views of a little grassbird, with a deeper than normal call (2 were
present). 6 reed warblers, white faced heron, LP cormorant, 7 swallows and 22
hardheads. What was interesting was the number of baby birds. Including black ducks with 2 dy and 4dy, teal with 2 dy, moorhens with 3 dy, swamphen with 1 dy (possibly more), swans with 2 dy.
