Hi Julian, I am keeping an eye on this breeding
group and the breeding along Molonglo Reach. Over winter there were 60+
old nests from memory, many of which have now been refurbished. As of last
week there was no breeding in comparison to the Darters along Molonglo Reach
which have had young in the nest for a few weeks now. It is not a good
idea for anyone to check the nests out from the cycle path as
the birds will be disturbed before you get there and, as Jack can confirm,
the Ravens are waiting for such an opportunity.
