As of today, I have received 225 hard-copy datasheets and 52
electronic ones, from 70 named participants, covering 104 grid cells. 170
species of bird have been recorded, with 73 species breeding. A few
hard-to-find species were recorded: Painted Button-quail; Australian
Owlet-nightjar; Cicadabird; Eastern Koel;
Intermediate Egret; Buff-banded Rail and Pied Cormorant. I have received
downloads for the following people who submitted their data electronically:
Luff, Butterfield, Kamprad, Ramsay, Zwankhuizen, Fennell, Moffat, Frawley and
Curnow. If anyone else has done so, pls let me know. And if anyone else hasn’t
submitted their data, please bring them to the COG meeting on Wednesday or make
other arrangements with me. Remember, there will be a lucky draw prize for all
blitz participants who have submitted datasheets. Thank you all. Barbara
