Julian, this is the recent hot spot for LBC.
The COG boat trip I organised for 29 March this year saw about 150 of them on
the E side of Black Mountain (see May Gang-gang), with about 75% and over 30
nests only a few 100 metres W of Sullivans Creek.
They could be nesting here again, though much
earlier this year. Is anyone with a canoe able to check? They are
notoriously difficult to see from the adjacent bike path.
