Whilst bike riding at Stromlo Park Sunday 17 August my son saw
five Button Quail (unfortunately I don’t know if he can identify the species)
He could give precise location if needed.
Also whilst riding at Majura Pines last week he saw Fantailed
Cuckoos on two occasions.

kindly passed onto us the detour directions to the Stromlo Forest Park

'Urriara
Crossig Road is open but Cotter Road is closed between Streeton Drive and
Urriara Rd. This can be avoided by following a detour through Holder
(Dixon Dr) & Duffy (Waragamba Ave & Eucumbene Drive), then turn right
onto Cotter Road to get to Uriarra X Road.
