On Friday afternoon there was a road killed platypus in that area so ripping
out the willows may effect burrowing animals as well as birds.

I have noticed this week that bulldozers are busy clearing all the
vegetation along the road-side of Molonglo Reach. I realise that its mostly
willows and other exotics but what effect will this have on Darter/Cormorant
nesting?
