Went to the water tank at 3.30pm yesterday (5/5/08). There were a lot of Miners
(approx. 20) and a lot of Eastern Rosella (Miners chasing each other and the
Rosellas). At 3.45 the Miners cleared off towards Mt Ainslie and 5 Minutes
later I found 16 Swift Parrots in a tree next to the water tank, just resting.
After 20 minutes I left the field to a birdwatching family.

The Majura Group has put out a note that they would like to be informed of any
Swift Parrot sightings. Do they receive these postings or should we inform them
seperately?

Cheers, Susanne
