No Swift Parrots seen on walk at Mt Majura yesterday (3.30-4.30), but a
large number (c>100) of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos moved slowly
northwards through the pine forest just over the saddle beyond the water
tank from 3.30 pm. Some apparently eating pine cones in tree tops. Later
at 4.30 what seemed a slightly smaller flock of YTBC flew low over the
Hackett park entrance heading west.
