We spent over an hour entranced by Swift Parrots at the water tank at Mt Majura from about 9am this morning.   The parrots were present all of the time but in varing numbers.  At one point over 30 joined into a single group circling the trees.  There were numerous opportunities for photos with some landing just a few feet above us. The birds hardly got any rest, being chased by Noisy Miners, Pied Currawongs and Crimson Rosellas.

Also of note, a Gang-gang Cockatoo and a single Grey Butcherbird nearby.
