Hi all

just saw in the Gang-Gang May Newsletter that Grey Butcherbird and Grey Currawong sightings are of interest.

Saw one Grey Butcherbird (possibly two) yesterday (3 May) at 5.10pm as I stepped passed the fenceline at the French Street access to the Watertank area in Hackett. It was hunting from broken branches only about 7 m off the nearest fence.

A Grey Currawong was enjoying the sunset up on Mt Ainslie Lookout with us on April 17 or 18 (same day as the Mt Pleasant burn off), approx 5:30pm.

Susanne
