If someone wants to "join the dots" between
Jerrabomberra and Wamboin and hypothesise likely migration paths, we have
been getting 10s of thousands of mostly Yellow-faced Honeyeaters flying over our
place over the last few weeks. Small numbers of White-napes, and yesterday
several White-eareds. Today it's been pretty steady flocks all morning (so far)
- too busy with snakes and large skinks (Shingleback and Cunningham's Skink) in
the garden to look up and count! Ours fly from a south to south-westerly
direction and fly north to north-east, mostly following tree lines.
