Yesterday at approximately 10am I saw 3 W-tNs hawking at about 30m above the creek line in my bottom paddock. A storm which did not eventuate was brewing.
Today at approximately 11:30am storm clouds were once again brewing and I caught sight of one W-t N hawking in front of a low fast moving cloud at about 50m above ground level. This time I was able to get clear views of both the white throat and tail coverts.
The recently arrived COG bird notes reported the latest W-tNs in wk4 April so it is not impossible however it did seem a bit late.
Has anyone else seen any lately?
