Butcherbird in Wanniassa??

I saw, what I can only believe to be butcher birds, passing by about 2 weeks ago. They were a pair, and I have no idea what they were, as I didn't get a very good look at them. If they weren't butcher birds, I don't know what they were. Though I have never seen them ever before. You can't get any more vague than that ;)

If only I had my camera :(

This is the time they move around Chris.   I’ve been hearing them in all sorts of places.  Usually young birds  g

Unmistakable call of a butcherbird about 7.30 this morning! ... just once, I was waiting at the bus-stop. ...could something have been imitating the call?   I thought I was hearing things!
